Use once or twice daily according to professional guidance. Dispense 2-3 drops and massage onto skin in an upward circular motion. Can be used before or after Skin Need water-basedd serum as suggested by your Skin Need Skin Consultant. For oily, combination, and sensitive-prone skin, dilute by blending with 1-2 drops of Skin Need water-basedd serums when use. Patch test before first use.

While topical Ferulic Acid is generally well tolerated, it is recommended that you patch test the product before use. Since Ferulic Acid is naturally oil soluble, for oily and combination skin looking to prevent premature ageing, blend with 1-2 drops of Skin Need water-basedd serums.

Q&A

Ferulic Acid is known to be reactive and oxidizes quickly. How does Skin Need’s Fortified Ferulic Serum differ from currently available Ferulic Acid serums?

With a high concentration of 0.3% Ferulic stabilized by 0.5% Vitamin E, we also place additional on its packaging to preserve the product’s bioactivity. Since Ferulic Acid is reactive to oxygen in the air, we minimized its contact with oxygen through packaging the product in 2 bottles of 15mle, instead of 1 full bottle of 30mle, such that when the second 15mle bottle is opened the product is still optimally fresh. Also, the packaging we use is a patented and scientifically proven glass material that not only filters out rays that degrade the active ingredients, yet also optimizes it to deliver the best results to users.

Can pregnant or nursing women use this product?

Generally, yes; but while there are no studies that suggest Ferulic Acid shall not be used during pregnancy or nursing, we suggest you to consult your physician before use.

Can people with sensitive and oil-prone skin use this product?

Yes, but do find the use suggestions below:
Sensitive prone skin: patch test before use, and start off by diluting 1-2 drops into 2-3 drops of Skin Need water-basedd serum and use on alternative nights. Only increase dosage or use frequency if skin does not react negatively.
Oil prone skin: since Ferulic Acid is insoluble in water, the overall rheology of the serum can seem a little bit rich. The richness can be countered by diluting 1-2 drops into 2-3 drops of Skin Need water-basedd serum for an overall fresher rheology.

If I want to treat premature ageing and hyperpigmentation, what are the best ways to use this product and until how long will I see results?

As ageing and hyperpigmentation are triggered by a variety of factors and thus a well-rounded defence system should be employed to counter those actions, progressively incorporating the Skin Need Quadruple Vitamin C Serum and Skin Need Retinol and Resveratrol Cream into your routine on alternating mornings and evenings can optimize these actions. Since use combinations, amounts and frequency depend on your skin type + skin problem combination, I recommend that you talk to a Skin Need Skin Consultant to learn about the best plan for your case! While you will see improvements in as little as 7 days, it is recommended to use for at least 28 days to see more substantial results.
