Overview

Stem cells can be viewed as the “mother” of cells and are undifferentiated, which upon receiving specific instructions, have the ability to differentiate into the designated cell type and proliferate. It has been used for years in regenerative medicine to restore cellular functions that are otherwise damaged or lost.

In topical skincare, we are still unable to render live human stem cells viable in a pre-packaged product, and therefore most topical formulas that contain stem cell extracts - also not live cells - originate from plants, offering a variety of functionality such as strengthening, repairing, and fortifying the skin. These botanical extracts are purified via biotechnologies to preserve their activities in formulations, delivering the performance reflected in their clinical studies.

Apple stem cells

one of the first and most studied plant stem cell skincare ingredients shown to strengthen the vitality of the skin’s own stem cells, upregulating the expression of natural antioxidants in the skin, as well as inducing cellular rejuvenation.

Peptides

Since the most common plant stem cell extracts in skincare confer skin protection against aging and sensitizing agents, combining peptides and stem cells may have a synergistic effect, providing the skin with anti-aging stimulants in multiple pathways to delay skin senescence.
